Nokia has recently announced its new GSM/3G mobile phone in India which has large 240 x 320 pixel, 256K colors TFT display, microSD based expandable memory option, digital media player, FM radio and has a integrated 2.0 megapixel digital camera and a wide array of features and applications that takes advantage of WCDMA services.
The 110 gram Nokia 6233 is triband GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900 plus 3G (WCDMA 2100 networks) ready mobile phone handset which offers a high-resolution 262,144 colors QVGA TFT color display screen with 240 x 320 pixels resolution and 30 × 40 mm size and comes with 2.0 Megapixel camera with 1600 x 1200 pixels resolution and 8x digital zoom option for still photo shooting which is also capable of video recording in VGA 640 x 480 pixels resolution. The phone does not have a built-in flash.
Though supporting 3G network the Nokia 6233 does not have video calling features. The email client on Nokia 6233 phone comes with a spam filter and there’s a WAP 2.0 xHTML browser and the usual array of PIM functions and utilities always available with Nokia handsets.
Nokia 6233 mobile phone has 6-MB Internal Memory and supports expandable memory using microSD (TransFlash) to maximum 2-GB storage. A 64 MB microSD card is included in the package.
