Alltel Wireless announced that will soon be offering the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 smartphone on its network. The clamshell handset has a dual LCD display, with the larger, internal display’s resolution set at 240×320 pixels.Still images from the 2-megapixel camera can be saved onto the 8230’s integrated memory, while video recordings have to be saved onto a microSD or microSDHC memory card inserted into the external slot. The handset also has stereo Bluetooth support for wireless headsets.
