The HTC YOU campaign has a great tagline stating “You don’t need to get a phone. You need a phone that gets you”. This is based on the company’s commitment to focus on the needs and necessities of the customers. HTC also wants to make sure that the HTC devices suit the needs of the customers.
This is created in collaboration with Deutsch LA Inc which is a Los Angeles based advertising agency. The YOU campaign will be conducted in twenty countries around the globe within the next few weeks.

HTC Hero, Android 2.0 to Come Together

Well to be very candid, everyone does not enjoy twitter. But Twitter is a great platform for breaking news. The HTC Hero will be getting an Eclair update. We will also update the new Android OS. HTC has been using the Android 2.0 in-house for quite some time now and will definitely bring in new models in the future. Up to date the only device said to have an Eclair update is the Motorola Droid. We can hope for more Android featured devices coming up in the market. Regarding this you can get all the latest updates from the HTC Twitter. So, we can hope that the HTC Hero and the Android joins up with each other at the earliest. Much information is not known about this. All that you have to do is to check out for the Twitter updates.

HTC Droid Eris Pictures

This most awaited phone will finally launch at the same time or probably a short while after the launch of the Motorola Droid. The release of the Motorola Droid will take place on November 6th. The HTC Droid Eris will only be half the price of the Motorola Droid, only costing $99 after rebate. The HTC Droid Eris features a Wi-Fi connection with an autofocus camera of five megapixels, but this has no flash unfortunately.
This phone is sure to create a lot of competition in the market especially there will definitely be a stiff competition between the Droid Eris and the Motorola Droid. Nokia is sure coming up with interesting phones and as long as people (like me) lap up the phones with an apetite, we can rest assured that Nokia is going to churn out good phones after phones. After all, being the leader in Cellphones, you can’t expect them to just hang in there, do you?

N95 8GB is THE Phone to Purchase

If you are looking forward to purchase a phone within the next 1-3 months, then I must tell you that you should go for the Nokia N95-8GB. It is a damn good phone. Nokia did redesign this phone and increased it’s screen size for a better viewing experience for movies or your own shot videos and also increased the internal memory to 8 GB which I think is good enough for let’s say a year at the least.
Actually when I went out yesterday to the market to have a look at the available models out there, I found that the features I was looking forward to were really either too expensive or what not present in the mid-end models that are available.
Although the phone’s slider design is something I don’t really approve of, the other features weigh in favor of the N95-8GB.

I mean how many phones out there can boast of an impressive line-up of features such as:
a big screen to satisfy your viewing needs
built-in GPS for letting you NOT turn into that dead-end alley that you are trying to avoid
Wi-Fi Connectivity for a full-fledged internet or intranet usage
A 5 MP carl-Zeiss Camera to staisfy your photography/videography cravings
So, for my own purchase, I would rather wait collect the money required to get my hands on this baby and then will go for it

Got My Nokia N82 on 20th August

<img style="FLOAT: left; The slimmer and more stylish ROKR E8 has a virtual keypad, standard five-way navigation buttons and an innovative touch-sensitive wheel for scrolling through menus and lists.
One of the handset's main drawcards is ModeShift technology that lights up a different set of keys depending on whether the handset is in phone, music or camera mode. Coupled with haptic vibration technology, which confirms the pressing of a virtual key, the result is superior to many conventional keypads.
Musically, the ROKR E8 can play back all the main digital audio formats, which are searchable in various ways, including by composer, genre, artist and album. Playlists can be created easily.
Other music features include a 3.5mm socket for standard earphones and a microSD slot for adding to the 2GB of built-in memory. This ARIA Edition of the ROKR E8 provides online links to the ARIA weekly Top 10 downloadable songs.
The wheel is a convenient alternative to the standard navigation keys, particularly when searching long lists of contacts and songs. Regardless of the method, the menu system is not overly responsive and the wheel can be tricky to use. Bluetooth allows the ROKR E8 to connect wirelessly with compatible hands-free car kits, headphones and speakers, though Wi-Fi and 3G support are nowhere to be found, which makes the built-in web browser painfully slow.

mSpace Mobile

Click on image to see video of mSpace mobile running on a PDA. Samsung Blue Earth Eco-Friendly Smartphone is one of them. There is plenty to talk about this mobile phone. Being the first solar powered cell phone in the world, this device has a solar panel located at its back. Samsung claims that there would be sufficient power to enable users to make a call at anytime and at any place.
The case of this phone is made up of recycled plastic from water bottles. This reduces carbon emissions and fuel consumption during the manufacturing process. The entire device and the charger too are free from harmful chemicals like Brominated Flame Retardants, Phthalate and Beryllium. Not just this, the entire packaging is done with recycled cardboard. This smartphone also has a special feature called “Eco mode”, which reduces screen brightness, turns off backlight and bluetooth, when not in use, in order to save power. Another feature that this phone offers is the “Eco-walk” function which uses a pedometer to tell the user how many steps he has walked and how much carbon dioxide emission has been reduced by his walking instead of driving. There is an indication of how many trees have been saved too.
Shaped like a shiny pebble with rounded edges, Samsung Blue Earth Touchscreen Mobile Phone features a full touch sensitive display as well. Other specifications are not known yet. However, “Three Cheers” to Samsung for this eco-friendly endeavour.

Nokia Morph concept mobile phone

M orph, a joint nanotechnology concept, developed by Nokia Research Center (NRC) and the University of Cambridge (UK) - was launched alongside the "Design and the Elastic Mind" exhibition, on view from February 24 to May 12, 2008, at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Morph features in both the exhibition catalog and on MoMA's official website. Elements of Morph might be available to integrate into handheld devices within 7 years, though initially only at the high-end.
